Durable and secure, 3M Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener SJ3550 / SJ3551 has exceptional strength through its interlocking mushroom-shaped heads (250/400 stem density per square inch), providing up to 5X the tensile strength of typical hook-and-loop products. We designed this fastener with a white, acrylic, conformable foam tape protected by a removable, film liner. This solid, foam tape features a strong, durable bond that is heat, chemical and UV resistant. With 3M Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener SJ3550 / SJ3551, there is no need for any drilling, screwing or sewing tools which makes for quick installation.

Just peel off the protective liner from each mated piece of 3M Dual Lock, attach them to your separate pieces and then push the pieces together until you feel the mushroom-shaped heads interlock. Alternate method: Peel the protective liner from one side and attach the mated strip to one surface, then peel the other liner to expose the adhesive and attach your second surface, pressing down to ensure good adhesion; the pieces can then be peeled apart for access.
